Mark's tripod clamp lens
Here's how I mount my box cameras to a tripod without modifying them in any way. Before I found a good copy stand I bought a $10 copy arm from Amazon, which came with this clamp mount for a cell phone. The arm was a little wobbly, and seemed too light to mount an SLR on. Turns out the camera clamp is the best part, and grabs my Kodak box cameras well enough without drilling any holes in them. I move the tripod with camera mounted, but hold it in place while moving. I don't currently see this exact model on Amazon, but many similar models are available for about five bucks and up. Clamp it just tight enough to hold, too much and something cracks.
