3-7-24: I bought this on Ebay for $13 bucks to mix my darkroom chemicals. I also had to buy the 1 inch magnetic, plastic coated "bar" that goes in the cup or bowl for around $7 bucks. It works much better than shaking the bottle because it doesn't make much foam. It's also a lot easier, and I'm very lazy. Stirring with a stick left lots of undissolved particles sticking to the negatives. Foam from shaking the bottles dissolved the chemicals but make foamy rings on the film. I also changed from the martini shaking agitation to the spin the tank agitation, which also makes no foam. I could find a motorized rock tumbler base to spin it also, but I want it to sit flat when not being agitated.Click any pic to enlarge to full screen in a new tab. Close tab to return.
